Maids 4ths made a flying start to the new season as they claimed an emphatic 43-3 league victory at home to Aylesbury 3rds.

The home pack dominated from the start and blindside flanker Darran Brown opened the scoring early on when he went over from close range.

With plenty of good ball provided by the forwards, the backs made the most of the good conditions. Centre and man-of-the match Jan Weddepohl ran in four tries, Al McEwan and Peter Bluck added one apiece and fly-half Dave Goodman kicked four conversions.
