Maidenhead 38 - 11 Winslow
(league fixture)

Maids bounced back in style after the previous week’s defeat, claiming an emphatic 38-11 victory at home to Winslow.

The home pack turned in a much more dynamic performance in the loose and provided plenty of good ball for the back line. Centre Jan Weddepohl and scrum-half Tim Callaghan were the chief beneficiaries, grabbing two tries each. Winger Rick Thorley and full-back Al McEwan added a try apiece, with fly-half Dave Goodman kicking four conversions.

This week the 4ths face what promises to be a tough match away to Marlow 3rds, their first game against their local rivals for several years.
