Travel Arrangements

Friday 22nd April

09:30 Meet at the Rugby Club.
10:00 Tour officially starts. You must have either a beer or a good excuse at this point.
11:00 Coach from Maidenhead to Heathrow.
13:20 BA flight 850 from Heathrow to Warsaw.
16:45 Land in Warsaw, coach to the hotel.

Monday 25th April

10:00 Coach from the hotel to the airport.
12:25 BA flight 847 from Warsaw to Heathrow.
14:00 Land at Heathrow, coach to Maidenhead.
Head for the Hand & Flowers.

Tour Law

Caveats

All these laws (and any subsequently introduced) are liable to change without prior warning at the discretion of the Judge. Ignorance of Tour Law is no excuse for breaking it, however, asking what the Law is is a finable offence.

Dress code

Travelling:

Blazer or jacket (or jumper with Club Badge)

At other times dress is at the Judge's discretion. Do not forget to bring your rugby kit.

Drinking Rules

All drinks taken on an even hour (local time) will be held in the Right Hand with little finger outstretched.
All drinks taken on an uneven hour (local time) will be held in the Left Hand with little finger outstretched.
All pointing is to be carried out using the elbow only.

Local Rules

New for this year, all tourists must have a Polish sausage with them and available for inspection for the duration of the tour.

Other Activities

Friday evening - Tapas/meal with our hosts.
Saturday evening - Barbeque/meal with our hosts (apparently in an Irish bar).
Sunday - Day of leisure, including watching the Heineken Cup semi-finals.
Monday afternoon - Rounding off the tour in the Hand & Flowers.

Suggestions are welcome, contact Steve Bourne ASAP if you have any ideas. (nb. a trip to Auschwitz was discussed but would not be practical due to excessive travelling times.)

Cost and Fundraising

The tour cost is £250.

This will get you:

Travel to and from Warsaw, including connections to and from airports.
3 nights accommodation (breakfast is charged separately, if you wake up in time).
Playing insurance.
A tour shirt.

As usual, any other food, drink, souvenirs, etc you require will not come from the kitty so pick up some of the local currency, Polish Zlotych. The current exchange rate can be found at the National Bank of Poland's website or XE.com's Universal Currency Converter.
