Meeting arrangements

Meet 7.00am in the Maidenhead Railway Station car park.
Anyone late for this will be in trouble.

Coach leaves Maidenhead 7.30am.
Anyone late for this will be left behind.

Dress rules

Travelling attire is:

Shirt
Club tie
Blazer or club jumper
Smart trousers (no jeans)
Smart shoes (no trainers)
Funny hat (no baseball caps)
Fresh flower

Dress for travelling to and from matches is as above, but with bermuda shorts instead of trousers.
Dress at other times will be at the Judges discretion.

Travel insurance

We have not paid for travel insurance, you may wish to make your own arrangements.

You can get a form E111 from the Post Office, which should help you get the French equivalent of the NHS in case of accidents.

Itinerary

We have arranged matches for the Saturday and Sunday afternoons against Neuilly and Courbevoie. Do not forget your kit.

In addition we have arranged a meal for the Thursday evening, plus visits to the Eiffel Tower and a water park for the Friday. You may want to bring suitable swimming attire.

This year Horseman Coaches are providing us with an executive coach and driver, Paul Cooper, who will remain with us throughout our stay in France.

Outward Journey:

Depart Maidenhead Thursday 6th April at 7.30am
Depart Dover by ferry to Calais 11.30am
Arrive Calais 2.00pm French time
Arrive Paris at around 7.00pm

Return Journey:

Depart Paris Monday 10th April at 11.00am
Depart Calais by ferry to Dover 3.00pm
Arrive Dover 4.30pm British time
Arrive Maidenhead at around 7.30pm

Rugby Matches

We aim to play two rugby matches and these will probably take place on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons (8th and 9th April). We believe Club de Rugby de Neuilly - Paris can accommodate us, they have already had some dealings with Maidenhead Rugby Club.
